As The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship™ begins to make its way to tables (both physical and digital) around the world, following its limited pre-release at UKGE and launch on Board Game Arena, we know our community is eager for an update on global availability.
We can confirm that The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship will have a global rolling release, allowing us to get the game into the hands of players as quickly as possible. As the start of the rolling release date on June 27th approaches, some regions will start to see the game available online and in local game stores. We encourage you to check with your local game store for specific release timing in your territory. It is our goal to have the game available in all regions by the end of August.
For those attending Gen Con, the Z-Man team is making every effort to provide English versions of the game for sale at the convention. We anticipate that US retail availability will follow in August.
The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship is also available to play online for free on Board Game Arena for a limited time. An introductory scenario for the game is now live, so whether you’re adventuring solo or gathering your fellowship, you can explore how the Pandemic formula has been woven into the theme, get a feel for the mechanics, and face some of the game’s many challenges. Your adventure awaits!
